Don’t get cannabinoid confused with the scientific name for CBD (cannabidiol) Cannabinoids include over 100 unique chemical compounds found in both marijuana and hemp. The two most famous cannabinoids are CBD and THC.

• What is the difference between CBD and THC?

Tetrahydrocannabidol or THC is the psychoactive ingredient found in marijuana that results in a ‘high.’ Cannabidiol or CBD which is renowned for its many health and wellness benefits is found in hemp and is NOT psychoactive.

• What is the Endocannabinoid System?

Endocannabinoids are natural cannabis-like molecules produced by the human body. The main function of the endocannabinoid is to maintain bodily homeostasis-biological harmony in response to changes in the environment.

• How does CBD affect the Endocannabinoid System?

One of the many benefits of CBD is that it may support healthy balance to the endocannabinoid system and promote a feeling of wellbeing.

• What is the difference between marijuana and hemp?

Marijuana and hemp are two varieties of the same plant species: Cannabis sativa. Hemp has been bred to have very low levels of THC (0.3% or less) and high levels of CBD. Marijuana has been bred to have higher levels of THC.
